Aerodynamics

SW-01 is a pioneering design by Polsl Racing. The skin consists of the floor, nose and two side panels.Unlike later vehicles, the SW-01 did not have an aerodynamic package. The design of the plating and its components were created in CAD software, and numerical analyses were carried out in Ansys CFX. All components were made of epoxy-carbon composite with a total weight in the range of 13kg.

Chassis&Suspension

The frame and suspension of the SW-01 were based on the 2014 prototype. The bolide's frame was made from S355 structural steel, a feature of which is strength and good weldability. The initial design of the frame assumed a weight of 55kg, but the final weight was only 37kg. Improvements were applied in the aspect of wheel geometry and the braking system.

Powertrain

Before the advent of the electric era, the first car built by Polsl Racing members was equipped with an internal combustion engine. The SW-01 had a Honda CB600F engine with 75 horsepower and 599cc capacity. The vehicle accelerated to 100 kilometers per hour in only 4.5 seconds, providing a fascinating combination of engineering precision and dynamic performance.

Electric&Electronics

Although less extensive than in later models, electronics played an important role in the proper operation of the vehicle. Circle members worked on correct engine wiring, safety and energy management systems, and telemetry. Thanks to the electronic components developed, all processes passed correctly and the car ran smoothly and efficiently.
