Polsl Racing stands as a dynamic student collective from the Silesian University of Technology, uniting over a hundred individuals across five specialized sub-teams. At the core of their endeavors lies a shared passion for automotive engineering, particularly within the realm of Formula 1. The team not only engages in spirited competition on the racetrack but also dedicates itself to the avant-garde task of designing future vehicles, seamlessly intertwining theory with hands-on practice. Polsl Racing transcends mere racing; it functions as an innovation laboratory, where students evolve not only as enthusiasts but also as future engineers reshaping the landscape of automotive technology.

The aerodynamics sub-team is responsible for the design of the skin and the aerodynamic package. It is thanks to them that the car has an interesting appearance and can take corners at higher speeds. Composite materials have no secrets from them Composite materials have no secrets from them, as they make all the components with their own hands.
The Chassis & Suspension sub-component deals with: suspension system, braking system, steering system, structuralsupport system, and the kinetic energy absorber.The subassembly's actions have a particular impact on the car's handling, itstraction, weight and safety. The work of the sub-assembly members includes analytical calculations and simulations computer - to determine optimal vehicle characteristics, component design, strength analysis with optimization, and manufacturing of parts.
The Composites sub-team is responsible for the entire technological process of creating composite structures such as the skin or wings of a bolide. Among the tasks of the sub-team are, among others, mold design, selection of manufacturing technology, and production and processing of components. In the future, the sub-team also plans to develop strength analyses of composite materials.
The Electronics sub-assembly is responsible for the preparation of the electric drive train and the electrical harness, that is, the heart and nervous system of the bolide, respectively. In addition, members of the electronics sub-team create proprietary solutions for battery management or extensive telemetry.
The Marketing sub-team is responsible for the team's image at shows and on social media. The Sponsorship Team provides us with materials and services necessary for the creation of the car by contacting sponsors willing to support our project. Team Organization team takes care of the smooth running of our initiatives and has control over documentation and human resources.
The sub-team learns to design and manufacture mechanical systems. The team’s task is to make the braking and steering system, the suspension and everything related to it. They design all the parts that connect the monocoque to the asphalt. All parts are subjected to strength calculations or FEM analysis, correct production drawings are made before production and tolerance chains are determined.
